Inclusive Public Engagement and Facilitation
We bring passion, joy, creativity, and radical inclusiveness to public engagement and facilitation. We carefully create spaces for collaboration where everyone feels empowered. We believe that transparent, accessible, and effective public processes strengthen communities and lead to more equitable results.
We have led public engagement and facilitation processes in New York City and around the world, convening action-oriented planning and design processes with government agencies, NGOs, private developers, finance industry, and research institutions. We use the power of design, visualization, physical modeling, and spatial rendering to address the most pressing challenges of our time and drive inclusive representation of stakeholders and partners.
Sandy+10: Resilience, Equity, and Climate Justice, 2022
Thad, as Managing Director of the Center of Resilient Cities and Landscapes (CRCL), orchestrated a mass public mobilization for climate justice on the ten year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy. With support from the Red Hook Initiative and Columbia World Projects, this event brought together local activists, public housing residents, academics, current and former policymakers, and youth leaders to learn lessons from ten years of recovery and chart the course ahead.
